01Information Collected

Details are gathered when the signup form or contact form is completed on this website. That usually includes a name, an email address, a phone number and the vehicle and driving information needed to review auto insurance cover and prepare a quote. Payment card details are never requested or stored through this website.

Technical details such as browser type, device type, referring page and general location are recorded automatically when the site is visited. That information is not tied to a name unless a form has been submitted.

02How Information Is Used

Submitted details are used to prepare an auto insurance quote, answer questions about cover, support an active claim, help with requested policy changes and keep records of what has been agreed.

Information may also be used to improve the website, to understand which pages are useful and to keep the service secure against misuse. It is not used to build advertising profiles, and it is not passed to data brokers.

03Text Message Consent

The signup form has one optional text message box, for account notifications.

Where you check the account notification box, EvokeWheel operated by Targeto Inc. may send recurring automated account notifications to the phone number you provide. These are limited to account confirmation, vehicle details received, quote request status, coverage review ready and renewal date reminders. EvokeWheel does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Checking the box is optional and is not required to open an account or receive a quote. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for more info. You can also email the address listed under Contact Details with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line to opt out of account notifications.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.

04Cookies and Site Data

Cookies and similar storage keep basic preferences in place, remember form progress and measure how the site performs. Most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or cleared, though parts of the site may behave differently once they are switched off.

05Sharing With the Insurance Carrier

To prepare a quote, the details supplied may be passed to the licensed insurance carrier that would issue the policy, and to service providers who support document delivery and claim handling. Those parties may only use the information for the purpose it was shared for.

Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it, where a legal claim needs defending or where fraud or misuse is suspected.

06Data Retention

Records are kept for as long as an account or policy relationship is active, and afterwards for the period needed to meet insurance, tax and legal record keeping duties. Once that period ends, the records are deleted or made anonymous.

07Security Measures

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards protect the information held, including encrypted connections and restricted access to stored records. No method of transmission over the internet can be promised as completely secure, so care should be taken with anything sent by email.

08Your Choices and Rights

A copy of the information held can be requested, corrections can be made, text messages can be stopped and deletion can be asked for where no legal duty requires the records to be kept.

09Children and Minors

This website is meant for adults who are legally able to hold an auto insurance policy. Details are not knowingly collected from anyone under the age of eighteen, and any such records found are removed.

This notice may be updated as the service or the law changes. The effective date shown at the top of this page marks the current version, and continued use of the website after an update means the revised notice applies.
